Job Description

If you are an experienced home health aide who enjoys varied activities that help people lead more independent lives, we'd love to talk to you! We are seeking a kind and compassionate home health aide who has excellent communication and companionship skills to provide basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so our patients are empowered to live happily at home. You must have 1-3 years of experience in home health implementing care plans, and make your patients' health and safety your first priority. Compensation:
$19 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:
Complete basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, replacing bandages and dressings, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices Oversee medication tasks such as opening bottles, organizing self-administered dosing and arranging refills; and assist with meal preparation and planning Transport patients as needed to doctor's offices or other health care services, grocery shopping, or for other errands Help patients accomplish personal care tasks like scheduling appointments, calling doctors' offices, and coordinating Medicare and other insurance details Implement care plans as directed by the case manager, and keep updated and accurate care records
Qualifications:
Over one year of experience as a personal caregiver, HHA/ home health aide, personal care aid, or nursing assistant for a home health agency, at patient homes, or care facilities settings is vital Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills Completion of home health aide training programs from community colleges are acceptable - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a plus Some college preferred, but a high school diploma or GED is required Current CPR certification and first aid training is needed and you must be able to pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical About Company We are a compassionate Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) dedicated to providing exceptional care and a warm, supportive environment for our residents.
