Executive Director/ Administrator Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of clients Provide care and training to the clients as outlines in the program plan and the client's IPP, as well as the program plans outlines by the behavioral consultant for each client Comply with facility's policies and regulations To provide and supervise recreational activities in the facility and the community To keep facility neat and clean To prepare nutritional meals and snacks To provide home-like setting for all clients living in the home To assist clients with self-administration or prescribed medication To recognize early signs of illness and the need for professional assistance To utilize necessary community services and resources To keep on-going notes as required by the regional center Promote special and individual events for residents Attend resident conferences, if needed Attend classes and seminars to meet the requirements of continuing education including but not limited to CPI, Pro-ACT, DSP1 and DSP2, etc. Report any occurrences to on coming shift, as appropriate Attend mandatory monthly trainings Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have valid driver's license. Must be able to complete background investigation. At least one year of experience working with populations with intellectual disabilities.' '
