Full Job Description About Us:
S&A Children's Care Services Inc. is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals in our Adult Residential Facility (ARF). We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and experienced Direct Support Professional House Manager to lead and oversee operations in one of our facilities. This is a crucial position requiring leadership, consistency, and strict attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
DSP Year 1 Certification (Required) Prior managerial or supervisory experience in a residential or care facility setting Strong knowledge of Title 17 and Title 22 regulations (preferred) Must pass background check, TB test, and possess valid CPR/First Aid certification
Position Summary:
The House Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of the facility operations. This includes ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations, overseeing staff performance and training, and maintaining thorough, accurate documentation across all shifts. The ideal candidate is firm yet compassionate, well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of adapting or enhancing existing operational structures with administrative approval.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the facility. Supervise, support, and train DSP staff to ensure high-quality care and performance. Ensure all client documentation, daily logs, MARs, incident reports, and shift notes are accurately completed and in compliance with all state regulations. Maintain compliance with licensing protocols and ensure proper handling of all client-related situations. Conduct routine checks to confirm staff are maintaining hygiene standards, completing household chores, and keeping the environment safe and clean. Monitor and document fridge cleanliness, food safety, client hygiene, and medication administration processes. Collaborate with administration on improvements to routines, structures, or new procedures. Act as a liaison between the facility and external agencies or licensing bodies when necessary. Attend required trainings, meetings, and assist with audits or reviews as needed.

You will be expected to constantly monitor operations, ensure correct documentation, and uphold the standards of care our clients deserve. Further training will be provided to ensure understanding of all position-specific documentation and responsibilities.
