In this vital role, you will provide personalized support, facilitate skill development, and promote community engagement. Your enthusiasm and compassion will help individuals overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Teach and train individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation, medical appointments, and medication refills Develop and implement individualized program plans tailored to each person's needs and goals Provide transportation and driving support for appointments, community outings, or errands Collect and document data related to progress, services provided, and health status accurately and consistently Collaborate with families, caregivers, social workers, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety protocols and emergency procedures Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism preferred Background in special education or behavioral health highly valued Home and community care experience is a strong plus Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and provide caregiving support effectively Strong communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation duties Experience in data collection, documentation, or social work beneficial Knowledge of medication administration protocols is advantageous Join us in creating a positive impact by fostering independence and empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives.
