We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and organized Scheduling Assistant to join our dedicated team in caring for people of ALL ages. In this vital role, you will coordinate caregiver schedules, ensure timely service delivery, and maintain clear communication with clients and staff. Your energetic approach will help us deliver seamless care experiences that truly make a difference! Responsibilities (but not limited to): Manage daily scheduling of home care providers to meet client needs efficiently Communicate proactively with caregivers to confirm shifts and address scheduling conflicts Liaise with clients to understand their care requirements and preferences Update and maintain accurate scheduling records using our management systems including track, verify, and record clock-ins/outs of caregivers on an hourly basis Respond promptly to last-minute changes or emergencies, adjusting schedules as needed Perform Caregiving duties by working last-minute cases and/or covering call-off shifts Accept weekday and/or weekend on-call rotations as assigned (Bonus Pay) Receive client intake calls, assist with in-home assessments, and work the 1st shift with new clients to gain inadept knowledge of their Plan of Care Collaborate with team members to optimize caregiver assignments and improve service delivery Support onboarding - assist with new hires by coordinating training schedules and availability Qualifications Must be a registered Home Care Aide (HCA) Must be an effective team player and have a yarning need to help others Ability to effectively motivate staff and multi-task Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively move in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear stakeholder interactions Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly to changing circumstances Experience with scheduling software or management systems is preferred Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Previous experience in home care scheduling is a plus This role offers the perfect entry-level opportunity for candidates who aspire to take on responsibilities as a home care administrator and/or build a career in the healthcare management field.
