KhanCare Residence Modesto, CA Full-Time / Part-Time Positions Available About Us KhanCare Residence is a Level 6 Adult Residential Facility serving adults with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, person-centered environment that promotes independence, dignity, and community integration. Position Summary We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. DSPs provide direct care, supervision, and support to residents while helping them achieve their individual goals and maintain a high quality of life. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to residents in accordance with individual service plans. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping. Support residents in developing independent living and social skills. Transport residents to appointments, community outings, work programs, and other activities as needed. Accurately document daily progress notes, medication administration records (MARs), and incident reports. Monitor resident health, safety, and well-being at all times. Implement behavior support strategies and crisis intervention techniques when necessary. Maintain compliance with Title 22 regulations, facility policies, and resident rights. Communicate effectively with coworkers, management, healthcare professionals, and regional center staff. Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background clearance. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents as needed. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred but not required
