Job Description
Job Overview Nacila Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Caregiver to provide support for residents in the afternoon. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensure the safety and comfort of residents, and maintain a positive and respectful environment. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support residents with mobility, transfers, and safe movement within the facility. Prepare and serve meals or snacks as needed, following dietary guidelines. Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to management. Administer medications or treatments as directed and in accordance with facility policy. Maintain a clean and safe environment, including tidying rooms and common areas. Engage residents in social, recreational, or therapeutic activities. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Qualifications Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain. Strong interpersonal skills and patience with residents. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when necessary. Work Environment Residential care facility setting. Direct interaction with residents, staff, and families. May require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Benefits Competitive hourly rate ($20/hour). Flexible part-time schedule.
