What You'll Do:
As an Independent Living Instructor , you'll provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes and communities, helping them build essential life skills such as: Budgeting and money management Scheduling and attending medical and dental appointments Meal planning and basic cooking Using public transportation Navigating housing options Maintaining Social Security, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and other benefits Practicing household safety and upkeep Building healthy relationships and community awareness
What You'll Need:
Must be 21+ years old Clear Live Scan (background check) Valid CA driver's license & clean DMV record Reliable car, current insurance, and willingness to drive (mileage reimbursed) Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. Verifiable references
Benefits:
Competitive pay: $26.25 - $30.00/hour to start (DOE) Flexible hours (Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, some weekend hours available) Mileage reimbursement Direct deposit Ongoing training and support Opportunities for advancement and employee recognition Referral bonuses
