Job Description
Community Growth, Content & Outreach Assistant Guidepost Counseling for Wellness Redding, CA Part-Time | W-2 Hourly | Local / In-Person Preferred You Might Be a Fit Here If... You are the person who notices when someone feels lost and helps them find the next step. You are warm, clear, organized, and not afraid to pick up the phone. You can walk into a room, introduce yourself, speak with confidence, and represent a mission with credibility. You understand that outreach is not just "marketing." It is trust-building. It is follow-through. It is helping the right families, schools, providers, and community partners understand what support is available before people hit a breaking point. At Guidepost Counseling for Wellness, we are hiring a part-time Community Growth, Content & Outreach Coordinator to help more families find the right support and help our community better understand what Guidepost offers. This is not just a behind-the-scenes role. This is a connector role. What Makes This Role Different A family may only reach out once. A pediatric office may only remember the practice that followed up clearly. A school counselor may only refer to the team that made the next step easy. A parent scrolling online may only pause when the message finally sounds like their real life. That is why this role matters. You will help Guidepost show up with warmth, clarity, consistency, and follow-through. You will help us build relationships in the community, support social media content, follow up with interested families and referral partners, and create a smoother client experience from first contact to next step. About Guidepost Guidepost Counseling for Wellness is a therapy practice serving ADHD and neurodivergent kids, teens, parents, couples, and adults. We help families and individuals work through anxiety, trauma, family stress, parenting challenges, relationship disconnection, emotional dysregulation, overwhelm, and life transitions. Our work is relational, practical, neurodivergent-informed, clinically serious, and deeply human. We believe families should not feel pushed through a generic system when they are asking for help. They should feel guided. What You Will Help With This role may include: Community outreach Referral partner relationships Phone follow-up Client experience support Social media content support Short-form video support Local events and presentations Relationship-building with schools, pediatric offices, community partners, and local organizations Tracking outreach and follow-up Helping more families understand what Guidepost offers Overflow administrative support when needed This role includes both people-facing work and detail follow-through. You need to be comfortable with both. The right person will like variety, people, communication, and clear follow-through. You Will Thrive Here If... You will thrive here if you are naturally relational and practically organized. You like people, but you also finish tasks. You can be warm without being vague. You can be confident without being pushy. You can follow a system without becoming robotic. You can represent Guidepost in the community with clarity, care, and professionalism. You may be a strong fit if you: Are comfortable making phone calls Communicate clearly in writing and in person Enjoy local networking and relationship-building Are comfortable being visible Can help create or organize social media content Are reliable with follow-through Can track details without losing the human side Are comfortable talking with parents, professionals, schools, and community partners Can speak in front of a small or larger group when needed Care about mental health, families, neurodivergence, and community support Want your work to feel connected to a larger mission This May Not Be the Right Fit If... This may not be the right fit if you want a role that is only behind a desk.
