Direct Support Professional - Adult Residential Facility

Overview Seeking to hire for the position of Direct Support Professional who will provide assistance to adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities and possible behaviors. Direct Support Professionals assist the individuals with activities of daily living in their home, as well as out in the community. This is an entry level position and we provide on the job training. Experience in working in a residential facility and/or working with adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities are preferred. Vitality Care Facility is an adult residential facility for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. All four residents would need nursing supervision and assistance with their healthcare maintenance and activities of daily living, 24 hours/ day, 7 days /week. Per shift, staff is composed of a licensed vocational nurse, and direct support professionals, possibly 1:1 per client, depending on their needs. Responsibilities Assist and support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs. Report any changes to health or behavior of the residents and promptly reporting to the Licensed Vocational Nurse on Duty Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the implementation of individualized care plans and service plans for the residents. Support residents on health management and diet Provide supports / services to help achieve client's goals. Qualifications Pass background check - Fingerprint Background check through Live Scan service required. Experience working with developmentally disabled / intellectually disabled clients preferred. Experience working in adult residential facilities preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Available shifts:

12hour shifts per day (7a & 7p), block shifts of Monday-Wednesday, Thurs-Saturday. Every other Sunday shift available.
