This position requires prior hands-on experience in a licensed residential care setting and a strong working knowledge of documentation standards, client rights, and regulatory compliance. About Our Organization We are a California-licensed Adult Residential Facility committed to providing person-centered, dignity-driven care to adults with developmental disabilities. Our program operates in full compliance with California Title 22 regulations and Title 17 Regional Center requirements. We have 1 Full Time Awake NOC Shift position AND 1 Part-Time position. We are seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals who understand that this work is more than a job — it is a commitment to advocacy, accountability, and compassionate service. Key Responsibilities Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobility support Implement and document IPP/ISP goals in accordance with Title 17 requirements Maintain accurate, timely daily documentation in compliance with Title 22 regulations Observe, document, and report behavioral or medical changes Support medication administration per physician orders and facility policy (as trained and authorized) Ensure residents' personal rights are upheld at all times Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment per Community Care Licensing standards Participate in in-service training and required continuing education Communicate effectively with administrators, Regional Center representatives, families, and interdisciplinary teams Required Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience in an Adult Residential Facility (ARF), Residential Care Facility, Assisted Living, or developmental disability setting Working knowledge of California Title 22 and Title 17 regulations preferred Experience documenting progress notes and behavioral observations Familiarity with IPP/ISP implementation Strong understanding of client rights and mandated reporting requirements Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Professional, compassionate, and dependable demeanor Licensing & Compliance Requirements In accordance with California Community Care Licensing and Regional Center standards: Must be at least 18 years of age Live Scan fingerprint clearance Criminal record clearance compliant with Title 22 Pre-employment physical and TB clearance Drug screening Current First Aid & CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to working independently) Completion of required DSP training hours per Title 17 guidelines Scheduling Requirements Ability to work weekends and holidays Flexible availability (Day, PM, or Overnight shifts may be required)
