This rewarding position involves providing compassionate care, fostering positive behavior, and supporting daily activities within home and community settings. All positions are paid, recognizing the importance of your vital contributions. Duties Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and medication administration when necessary. Support behavioral health and behavior management strategies to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Engage in data collection to monitor progress, document incidents, and track goals related to social work or developmental milestones. Provide transportation support by driving clients to appointments, community outings, or recreational activities while ensuring safety at all times. Offer caregiving support tailored to each individual's needs, including childcare for clients with young children or additional support for those with disabilities. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other disabilities in home or community settings. Strong understanding of special education principles and behavioral health strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to perform physical tasks involved in assisting with ADLs and providing caregiving support. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and data collection methods related to client progress.
