Job Description Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a part time Patient Care Assistant in our Inpatient Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned. Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families. Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate.
Required:
High School Diploma / GED Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or one year experience as a nursing assistant
BLS Preferred:
One year of pediatric experience The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $47.35. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
