Direct Support Professional (DSP) Bilingual - Part Time

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 6 months+ experience working with persons with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities; or experience in the human services field Fluent in English Fluent in Spanish preferred

MUST HAVES

21 years or older. Time management and scheduling. Valid driver's license with reliable personal vehicle to transport clients; must be able to pass a DMV background check. Ability to lift 50 pounds to assist clients with transfers to and from mobility equipment and vehicles. Clear criminal record; a background check will be conducted upon hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES

(including, but not limited to:) Create and assist clients in Individual Service Plans (ISP). Manage activities to achieve the short and long-term goals of clients and their dependents. Maintain accurate client records, including progress reports. Collaborate with the Regional Center on client matters. Transport clients to and from their appointments, errands, community activities, etc.; This involves the use of your personal vehicle, we provide mileage reimbursement. Comfortable working in consumers' homes. You will report directly with the Regional Support Specialist as well as admin.

$19.36 - $25.00 per hour
