Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Life Skills Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities to help them acquire and enhance essential life skills.

Duties:

• Implement individualized training programs to develop life skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores
• Assist individuals in community integration and participation in social activities
• Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
• Document progress through data collection/meetings
• Provide direct support in activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in social work, caregiving, or related fields
• Proficiency in behavior management strategies (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
