Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for neurodiverse individuals including those with Autism, Down Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other developmental differences through person-centered, behaviorally informed support. We are growing fast and urgently hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team and make a real difference in our clients' lives every single day. The Role We are seeking dedicated Direct Care Support to provide person-centered care, support clients with daily living activities and community engagement, and help them build the life skills they need to thrive. You will be a vital part of our clients' support team empowering them to live more independent,fulfilling lives. Key Responsibilities Provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assistance including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, feeding, light cooking, and cleaning. Support clients with safety supervision, mobility, ambulation, and medication reminders Execute Individualized Service Plan (ISP) goals and document daily progress notes Support clients during community outings, appointments, and recreational activities Build life skills, functional skills, and social skills alongside the individual Implement person-centered behavior support plans and crisis de-escalation strategies Track quantifiable data on client progress and behavior. Provide transportation to clients.(mileage reimbursement available) Administer medications in accordance with MAP protocols (for certified staff) Attend all required training to ensure the highest quality of care. Treat every client with dignity, respect, and a non-judgmental attitude. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Required); Associate's Degree in Human Services a plus CPR/First Aid certification and Mandated Reporter certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certification preferred DOJ/FBI Fingerprint clearance (required prior to start) Valid CA Driver's License with clean driving record preferred Experience working with neurodiverse or developmentally different individuals (preferred) Compassionate heart, calm demeanor, and non-judgmental attitude (a must) Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors.
