Full Job Description Urgent Hiring:
Behavioral Care Support Companion The ideal candidate will support individuals with developmental disabilities in areas of personal care, community participation and staying regulated and engaged in situations of demand and anxiety. Loneliness and Depression are huge factors that affect individuals with developmental disabilities and this manifests in the form of maladaptive behaviors (self injury or aggression) sometimes. The BCSC will mindfully and productively engage the individual in activities of interest and provide them the companionship support needed to stay regulated and feel included. Behavior management training is a plus but not mandatory as training will be provided. Experience in working in this field is a plus but not mandatory as every individual is different and no amount of experience can effectively guarantee a successful pairing partnership. Candidates will require to undergo a background check and
LIVE SCAN.
Flexibility and Adaptability is a MUST. Reliability and Compassionate Communication is a MUST.
