Direct Support Professional - Santa Barbara, CA

The Direct Support Professional assists individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health challenges with the growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living (ADLs) in home, community, or residential settings. The DSP works directly with residents to provide hands-on support, adaptive skill development, and safe transportation while following each individual's Individual Service Plan (ISP). This role requires comfort working with adults who have moderate to severe conditions, including non-verbal individuals, and the ability to utilize physical interventions when necessary.

g., adult day programs) using a company vehicle + Work closely with individuals who may be non-verbal + Utilize approved physical intervention techniques when required + Ensure resident safety, dignity, and engagement at all times

• Minimum Requirements
