Caregiver Benefits Paid orientation and training Ongoing skills-based and diagnosis-specific training Employee appreciation and recognition programs Supportive and collaborative work environment Flexible scheduling (4-12 hour shifts available) Opportunity for growth within the organization Responsibilities As a Direct Support Professional / Personal Care Assistant, you will: Provide one-on-one non-medical support to adults with developmental disabilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility Assist with meal preparation and feeding support when needed Provide medication reminders and assistance according to care plans Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the individual's care and living space Provide companionship, emotional support, and positive engagement Encourage participation in daily routines, community activities, and life-skills development Follow each individual's person-centered care plan and accurately document services provided Communicate effectively with supervisors and care teams and report concerns promptly Ensure the health, safety, and dignity of each individual served Minimum Requirements Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background clearance required Must be reliable, compassionate, and professional Ability to follow structured care plans and support individuals respectfully Strong communication and documentation skills Work Schedule Flexible shifts available: 4-hour shifts 8-hour shifts 10-12 hour shifts Weekday and weekend availability preferred.
