The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and promoting their independence. This position requires a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Individuals will be assisting clients with outings, as well as while in school. Must have a vaild Drivers License and car Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients in meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition. Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR when necessary. Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong caregiving skills with the ability to lift and assist clients safely. Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is essential. Proficient in meal preparation and understanding nutritional needs. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Familiarity with assisted living environments is a plus.
