Where You'll Work Founded in 1940, Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center is a 191-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Santa Maria, California. Serving over 250,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, cancer care, orthopedics, and stroke care. Additionally, Marian Regional Medical Center has been recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Home Care Aide, you will provide essential personalized support and companionship to clients in their homes, enhancing their overall quality of life and fostering independence according to individualized care plans.

Every day you will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. You will meticulously document services provided and proactively communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a compassionate and patient demeanor, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to client dignity and well-being. Your ability to adapt to varying client needs, maintain a safe environment, and adhere to care plans with attention to detail is essential. Patient Care Demonstrates basic skills of personal care, vital signs, range of motion, ambulations, transfers, meal preparation and light housekeeping. Manages client care in an efficient and timely manner. Encourages patients to participate in their care as appropriate Exercises appropriate judgment in planning/performing care by review of client"s current status and safe mobility level Notifies case manager or supervisor of patient concerns or changes in medical condition in a timely manner.

CA Basic Life Support -
CPR Driver's License:
CA Auto Insurance Preferred Prefer hospice or home health experience, but will train.
