Our approach is relationship-based, community-centered, and inspired by Montessori values of respect, self-worth, and independence. Coaches work one-on-one with clients in their homes and communities, helping them develop practical skills while pursuing meaningful personal goals. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to each person's needs, goals, and preferences. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Support behavioral health initiatives by applying behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors. Use effective communication skills, including American Sign Language if applicable, to enhance understanding and engagement. Collect and document data related to progress, behaviors, and service delivery accurately and consistently. Provide transportation support by driving clients to appointments, activities, or community outings while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with families, social workers, healthcare providers, and team members to ensure comprehensive care and support. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience providing Independent Living Skills (ILS) services or similar support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Valid California driver's license. Reliable vehicle and proof of automobile insurance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills, including Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and email). Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish. Knowledge of community resources in Sonoma County.
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
