(CIN, Inc.) has an immediate need to fill positions in the San Bernardino County areas. We would like caring individuals to apply.
REQUIRED
1-year experience with Developmentally/Physically Disabled or similar population, HS Diploma/GED-some college desired, CPR/First Aid Certified within 90 days, Finger Print Clearance, CA Driver's License, clean driving record, up to date vehicle registration, reliable vehicle, able to assist with transfers/lifting, good verbal and written English skills, organized and attentive to detail, and able to meet specific deadlines. We offer a , a gas and phone stipend, and medical, dental and vision benefits. This position offers the flexibility to schedule clients by appointment, when it is convenient for you. Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Implement care plans and follow specific instructions for each individual
  • Promote and uphold the rights and dignity of residents
  • Support individuals with Developmental Disabilities in their daily routines and activities
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Lift and transfer residents as needed
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred
  • Knowledge of hospice care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
