DSP (Direct Support Professional)

## Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their well-being and promoting independence. ## Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Implement care plans and provide personalized support to meet individual needs
• Respect and uphold resident rights and privacy at all times
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Administer CPR or first aid in emergency situations
• Provide care for individuals with memory care or dementia needs
• Offer hospice care and support to residents and their families ## Skills
• Experience in direct support or patient care is preferred
• Knowledge of hospice care, memory care, and dementia care practices
• Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
