POSITION OVERVIEW

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) III plays a key role in implementing Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and supporting participants in achieving independence and well-being. This role also provides leadership and guidance to other DSP staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) Lead IDT meetings and support participant goals Provide direct care and support Train and mentor DSP staff Maintain documentation and reports Transport participants safely Facilitate learning activities Support team collaboration and communication

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years related experience Valid CA Driver's License CPR/First Aid Certification DOJ fingerprint clearance Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred:

Experience with developmental disabilities Experience with assistive devices

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Active role across indoor/outdoor settings with physical activity and participant interaction.
