Direct Support Professional (Driver)

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In this role, you will provide transportation and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your work will help promote independence, social engagement, and meaningful community involvement.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM - 4:00 PM Guaranteed 40 hours per week Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential for this role

Responsibilities:

Safely transport individuals to and from community activities Support participation in outings such as parks, museums, stores, libraries, shopping centers, bowling, and social events (e.g., pizza parties) Ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of individuals at all times Assist with problem-solving and adapt to changing situations throughout the day Provide positive, respectful, and patient support

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Strong patience, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment Reliable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (a plus, but not required)

Pay:

Starting at $19/hour and up, depending on experience
