Female Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are seeking a full-time direct support professional to work with three ladies directly in their 3-bed group home located in the Littleton area.

NOTE :

Because this position requires providing assistance with intimate personal care such as toileting, bathing, and dressing to female individuals, we are only able to hire FEMALE staff.

PAY:

$20/hour

Wednesday 10:00pm - Saturday 6:00am

NOTE :

All of Cottonwood's residential DSP positions are live-in block shifts . This means employees live in the home with the individuals for two and a half days and are off for the remaining four and half days of the week. While residential DSPs only work two and half days, they do reach full-time status and are eligible for full-time benefits. •24-Hour periods are compensated at 16 hours; allowing for 8 hours of uncompensated sleep time. You do get to sleep on your shift, but you are required to be at the property for the duration of your shift . •

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED. Experience working with adults with developmental & intellectual preferred. Mature & dependable individual; minimum age of 21. Valid Driver's License. Must meet background and reference requirements. Computer/smart phone skills sufficient to complete required documentation. Reliable Vehicle with Proof of Auto Insurance. Clean Driving Record. No suspensions & less than three tickets in three years.

RESIDENTIAL DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITES

Provide direct care and supervision for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community and in their personal home. Assist individuals in completing living skills, money management, crafts, and community participation, hygiene routine, household cleaning, and meal preparation. Plan and carry out a variety of recreational activities to advance social development (outings to museums, parks, dances, recreation center, etc.). Provide transportation for individuals as needed. Assist with medical care / hygiene as needed (medication administration, toileting, etc.). Implement and document individual goals and medical tracking electronically.
