Role Summary As a DSP, you'll provide direct daily living support, skill development, and community integration for participants. You'll assist in personal care, facilitate recreation, and document progress—all within a respect-driven, nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with personal care: hygiene, grooming, meals, medication reminders Support daily living skills: budgeting, meal prep, housekeeping Facilitate community access: appointments and recreational activities Encourage social, educational, and emotional growth Implement individualized plans and behavior supports Observe and document participant progress and any health or behavioral changes Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (case managers, therapists, families, supervisors) Uphold safety standards and agency protocols Required Qualifications 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent (some roles may require additional education) Valid driver's license with clean driving record (for community outings) Ability to pass background/criminal record checks Physical capability: lifting, kneeling, bending as needed Basic CPR/First Aid certification - must obtain within 30 days of hire (Attuf Group can provide) Strong communication, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with IDD, mental health, or caregiving Postsecondary coursework or certification in human services Compensation & Benefits Competitive wage range: $17-$22 per hour (varies by location and experience) Paid training and onboarding Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off and holiday pay Retirement plan (401k) with employer match Career advancement and ongoing professional development opportunities Why Join Attuf Group?
