This vital role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes, and reporting findings accurately Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility assistance Maintain cleanliness of client living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Document care plans, patient progress, and incident reports diligently to ensure continuity of care Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior or disability care Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently in emergency situations Strong observational skills for patient monitoring, including dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or developmental disabilities care Familiarity with working with individuals with memory loss or behavioral challenges in dementia or hospice care settings Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility needs using proper techniques and equipment Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, families, and social workers Join us in delivering compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
