Direct Support Professional (DSP)•
Weekend Positions Available Location:
Bristol, CT Job Type:
Part-Time Weekend Position About the Role We are seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide high-quality support to individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life while providing hands-on support with daily living activities.
Available Schedules Saturday:
9:00 AM•11:30
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM•4:00
PM Sunday:
9:00 AM•11:30 PM Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential/community setting Assist with full Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including personal care and hygiene Support individuals with community participation and recreational activities Implement behavioral support strategies as needed Maintain accurate documentation and communication with team members Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served Current PMT (Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior/Physical Management Training) certification required Comfortable providing full ADL assistance Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Prior DSP or caregiving experience preferred What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual professionals Compassionate individuals who are committed to person-centered care Team players with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Apply today to join a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
