We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Independent Living Skills Trainers to join our team in Danbury, CT!

Independent Living Skills Trainer Location:
Danbury, CT Schedule:
Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 8
PM Responsibilities:
Provide personalized training to individuals on daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal hygiene under the Acquired Brain Injury Waiver. Assist individuals we serve in developing essential independent living skills, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and medication reminders. Drive individuals safely to appointments, community outings, or activities as needed, while maintaining compliance with all safety protocols. (Personal vehicle required) Foster independence and enhance overall quality of life. Collaborate with families and other team members to implement a person-centered plan.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required. Experience or background in working with individuals with brain injuries preferred. Demonstrated caregiving or home and community care experience is valuable for providing comprehensive support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
