Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support resident with Dementia and Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are met Document care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to coordinate ongoing support Skills Proven experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home & community care environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, Parkinson's and working with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Strong understanding of vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic first aid procedures Ability to operate Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids safely and confidently Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to resident support and social work principles Familiarity with group home settings or personal care homes is advantageous Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Join us in creating a caring community where every individual receives respectful, attentive support.
