Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Document care activities, patient observations, and any incidents clearly in compliance with healthcare standards Skills Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living, or home & community care environments Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, patient monitoring, and medication administration Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills are highly desirable Excellent observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition Experience working with seniors or individuals requiring long-term or home health care is preferred Join us in delivering compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
