Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide one-to-one assistance and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Your dedication will help promote independence, safety, and well-being while creating a positive environment for all. Responsibilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Monitor residents' health, observing client conditions, and reporting changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals, assist with cooking, and maintain cleanliness in living spaces to promote a safe environment Engage residents in social activities, community outings, and recreational programs to foster socialization and independence Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient observations, and incident reports in accordance with facility policies Follow safety protocols during emergency situations such as CPR or first aid responses Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Knowledge of autism support highly desirable Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to client care Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are advantageous for community outings or home visits Ability to fill any of the shifts listed 9am-3pm M-F, 7a-3p Saturday, 3p-11p Friday, 3p-11p Saturday. From $21.00 per hour
