Our mission is to enhance quality of life through personalized care delivered in the comfort of clients' homes. Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated ABI Support Staff to join our team! In this vital role, you will work closely with individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and other disabilities, offering compassionate support that promotes independence and well-being. Your efforts will empower clients to achieve their goals through engaging, personalized care that emphasizes safety, communication, and daily living assistance. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility support Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and emotional stability Support communication efforts using techniques such as American Sign Language or other augmentative communication methods Collect and document data related to client progress, behaviors, and service delivery to ensure accurate record-keeping Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with safety standards Provide transportation for clients as needed, ensuring safe driving practices and adherence to schedules Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and social workers to develop and update individualized care plans Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly preferred Home and community care experience demonstrating caregiving skills in diverse settings Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral health practices Familiarity with assisting clients with ADLs and providing direct support in various environments Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members Ability to operate a vehicle safely for client transportation responsibilities Experience in data collection, medication administration, or social work is a plus Join us at Prestige Companion and Homemakers, LLC to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
