If you have experience in Human Services, a position at Kelly's Kids Inc working with children and adults with developmental needs may be the position for you. Part-time positions available. Job Title - Developmental Services Day Program Direct Support Professional Great opportunity available to join our award-winning organization while making a difference in the lives of others. In this position you will work with children and adults with developmental needs to assist them in developing their strengths and skills, while supporting their life experiences. This position will also provide individualized skill growth opportunities, prosocial group participation, and vocational support while working in the community. Training as a Direct Support Professional will be provided. Flexible per diem and part-time schedules available. Staff are required to utilize their personal vehicle for individuals as part of community-based programming. A gas stipend will be provided on days when transportation of individuals occurs.

Qualifications:

Related experience working or volunteering with individuals with developmental needs is beneficial. High school diploma, 18+ years of age. Background and driving record check will be required prior to employment. Experience working with individuals with specialized behavioral support needs is a plus. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication skills. Professionalism when interacting with individuals with developmental needs, families, and Kelly's Kids staff. Ability to follow direction of supervisors and participate in required training. Ability to create healthy, positive relationships with all individuals.
