Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities, aging, and health challenges. In this vital role, you will foster a safe, nurturing environment by assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring health and safety, and promoting independence. Your dedication will empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives while ensuring their well-being is prioritized every step of the way. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's as needed Monitor vital signs, medication administration, and patient care plans to ensure health stability and safety Support residents during meal preparation, cooking, and feeding to promote proper nutrition and hydration Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging residents in social activities and community outings Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties in accordance with health standards Current open schedules: Monday through Friday 3:00pm
