Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Personal Care Assistant and become a vital part of enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of compassionate support. Your proactive approach will ensure that each person receives attentive care tailored to their unique needs, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote healthy living Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer residents or patients Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Document care activities, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams about patient progress Skills Proven experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certified in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with HIPAA compliance for patient privacy Strong patient observation skills to monitor vital signs and detect changes in condition promptly Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Experience working in group homes or nursing homes is highly desirable Compassionate communication skills to provide emotional support and build trusting relationships with clients Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional care with energy and enthusiasm!
