Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Sunday-Thursday | 3:00 PM
- 11:00 PM We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team supporting individuals in a residential setting in Wallingford, CT .
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a safe, supportive environment while helping individuals maintain independence and quality of life. Due to the client's personal care needs and privacy preferences, we are seeking a caregiver who can meet the requirements of this assignment. Female caregivers are encouraged to apply.
Schedule Requirements:
Consistent schedule: Sunday through Thursday Shift hours: 3:00 PM
- 11:00 PM Must be available to complete onboarding and training requirements
Training Requirement:
Must be able to complete 3 days of daytime training in New Haven prior to starting the assigned schedule
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support in a residential environment Assist with activities of daily living and promote independence Provide support with personal hygiene and hygiene-related care Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment Complete documentation and communicate effectively with team members Encourage engagement in daily routines and community participation
Qualifications:
Female staff required for this assignment based on client care needs and privacy considerations Must be comfortable providing hands-on hygiene care as well as feeding and toileting when/if needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Experience in human services, caregiving, or residential support Why Join Us?
