Successful:

You'll be active throughout the day, which may include walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and helping individuals with mobility needs. You may assist with personal care tasks such as hygiene, dressing, or feeding, depending on the needs of the individuals you support. Driving a company van is part of the job, so you'll need to be comfortable behind the wheel and able to safely transport participants to activities and appointments. The environment can be lively and fast-paced, with group activities, outings, and occasional changes in routine. You'll work both indoors and outdoors, including parks, community centers, and other public spaces. Weather conditions may vary. Emotionally, the role requires patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. You'll be supporting individuals with varying abilities, behaviors, and communication styles. Some days may be challenging, but the rewards of building relationships and making a difference are deeply fulfilling.
