Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Assistant, where your dedication and caring nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and personal well-being. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, and community-based environments. Your energy and enthusiasm will help promote independence, safety, and comfort for those you serve, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care with dignity and respect. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and manage heavy lifting tasks safely to prevent injury Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols Follow care plans meticulously while providing compassionate emotional support to residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred Hands-on experience with patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and implementing care plans Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, memory care techniques, and dementia-specific strategies Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or disabilities in a supportive environment Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance or hospice care are advantageous Experience operating medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or managing medication administration is highly valued Demonstrated ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional personal care. Pay:
$33.66 - $48.49 per hour
