- Meaningful Day DSP (Part‑Time, Daytime Hours) Flexible Schedule | Weekday Hours Only | Mileage Reimbursement KenCrest is hosting an in‑person hiring event in Delaware , and we're looking to connect with candidates interested in our Meaningful Day Direct Support Professional (DSP) role. This role is all about helping people with intellectual disabilities spend their day in ways that matter to them like getting out into the community, trying new things, building relationships, and working toward personal goals. What You'll Do Support individuals out in the community (volunteering, activities, events, hobbies) Help people build independence, confidence, and social skills Encourage individuals to try new experiences and make their own choices Assist with communication, self‑advocacy, and daily life skills Transport individuals safely to and from activities in your own personal vehicle ( mileage reimbursement provided ) Schedule This role is great for students, parents, or anyone looking for flexible, meaningful part‑time work : Monday - Friday daytime hours (no evenings or weekends) Most shifts fall between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM 8-20 hours per week , depending on the individual Some shorter shifts can be combined based on your availability What You Bring High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and auto insurance ( mileage reimbursed ) Comfort communicating in basic English Ability to pass background checks Willingness to complete required trainings (Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, etc.) No experience required — we will train the right candidates
