Patient Care Assistant - Part-Time | Optometry Practice Cedar See Vision Center |
Middletown, DE Job Type:
Part-Time | 28-32 hours/week About the Job Cedar See Vision Center is an independent optometry practice seeking a reliable, patient-focused Patient Care Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role with opportunities to cross-train in optometric tech duties and the optical. Responsibilities Check in and check out patients Collect copays and process payments Answer incoming calls only as needed Assist with pre-testing and optometric tech support Cross-train in optical — frame styling, dispensing, and adjustments Other duties as assigned to support daily practice operations Requirements Minimum 2 years of eye care experience (required) Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills Organized, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Schedule Monday, Wednesday:
10am-6pm
Tuesday:
12pm-7pm
Thursday:
9am-4pm
Rotating Fridays and Saturdays:
9am-1pm (once monthly)
Pay:
Based on experience
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
