Position Title:

Companion Caregiver (30 Hours/Week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Companion Caregiver to assist an elderly gentleman with community outings and daily companionship. This position focuses on enhancing quality of life, encouraging social interaction, and supporting independence.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities Accompany client to community outings (shopping, appointments, recreational activities, etc.) Assist with light errands and daily tasks as needed Ensure the client's safety and well-being at all times Encourage participation in activities that promote independence and enjoyment Provide basic supervision and redirection when needed Maintain communication with family and/or agency regarding client needs and updates Complete required documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

Experience working with elderly individuals preferred Friendly, patient, and reliable personality Good communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background screening (if required)

Schedule:

Approximately 30 hours per week (schedule to be discussed)
