Enrichment activities include training in the following areas: employment readiness, self-advocacy/human rights, technology, reading, writing, mathematics/money management, community integration, music, visual arts and much more. We provide personalized programming that empower ALL individuals to become more independent and productive. Responsibilities:

Lead or assist with daily programming/activities Provide personal care assistance including transferring and lifting of participants as needed, personal hygiene, feeding etc. Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings Document individual progress and any incidents or observations Maintain a clean and safe environment Transport participants to and from the ADT center and to special events in the community using the company 15 passenger van.

Requirements:

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus (especially as a certified Direct Support Professional). Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality Basic first aid, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens certification is desired Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Note:

This position may require occasional interaction with the participant's circle of supports such as Behavior Analysts, guardians etc.
