Gainesville, Florida About TLC Group HomeTLC Group Home provides compassionate, 24/7 residential care for developmentally disabled adults in a safe, supportive, and home-like environment. We help our residents live with dignity, independence, and joy. Position SummaryWe're looking for caring, reliable Direct Support Professionals to join our team. You'll provide daily care and support to adults with developmental disabilities, helping them with daily living activities while promoting their independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Support daily living skills: meal prep, housekeeping, medication reminders, and appointments Engage residents in meaningful activities, outings, and community involvement Document daily progress, behaviors, and incidents accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and positive home environment Work collaboratively with a small team to meet each resident's individual needs Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years old Reliable transportation and a valid Florida driver's license Ability to pass Level 2 background screening and drug test Previous experience in caregiving or with developmental disabilities is a plus, but we train motivated candidates Strong communication skills and a patient, positive attitude What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $15-$17 per hour Flexible full-time and part-time schedules, including overnights Paid training and opportunities for growth Supportive team environment focused on making a real difference If you're compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a meaningful impact, apply today!
