PM Job Description:

APMJR Services LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Direct Support Professional/Companion to provide care for a male client with autism. This role focuses on companionship, personal support, and helping the client maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment during weekend hours.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and positive social interaction Assist with personal support needs and daily routines Encourage participation in community and recreational activities Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive environment Monitor safety and well-being at all times Communicate updates with family and agency staff as needed Follow individualized care plans and behavior supports

Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred Reliable, patient, and professional demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and supportive in various situations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Background screening required CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain) Why Join Us?
