In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. This paid position offers the opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a positive impact in our community. Duties Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding or meal supervision Support residents with assisted living needs within personal care homes, group homes, or community settings, ensuring a safe and clean environment through regular cleaning and sanitation Drive clients to appointments or activities when required, maintaining safety protocols at all times Experience Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or assisted living facilities Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory support strategies Hands-on experience with medication administration and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and record keeping Background in home & community care or home care services is highly desirable Experience operating mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively and implement personalized care plans Join us to empower those we serve through compassionate caregiving!
