The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through attentive, respectful, and professional caregiving. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities, medical needs, and emotional support. Duties include but not limited to: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments, including memory care techniques. Support patients in assisted living or long-term care environments by maintaining a safe and clean living space. Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, or other assistive devices to ensure safe patient handling. Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to promote overall well-being. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards while providing high-quality home & community care.

Skills:

Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications such as hospice or long-term care training are advantageous. Ability to operate Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids safely while supporting patient independence. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate attitude combined with professionalism to provide respectful and dignified care at all times. Ability to work independently or as part of a team within home & community settings while adhering to safety protocols. $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
