Flexible shifts based on client needs About Matrix Home Care Matrix Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Bilingual Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and support services to clients in the home setting. This position will support clients in the Miami area, including the Little Havana, Coral Way, and Coconut Grove areas. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred. Position Summary The Home Health Aide will assist clients with activities of daily living and provide support to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The ideal candidate is caring, reliable, professional, and comfortable working one-on-one with clients in a home care environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with mobility, transfers, walking, and fall prevention Assist with meal preparation and feeding support, as needed Provide light housekeeping related to the client's care Provide medication reminders, as permitted by agency policy Monitor and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or home environment Follow the assigned care plan and communicate concerns to the care team Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and communicate schedule changes promptly Benefits Under Florida law, this role is subject to background screening per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, including fingerprinting and review for eligibility before employment.
